Where are you from? I was born in Rochester, NY but we traveled around during most of my childhood. I was fortunate enough to live in Auckland, Madrid, London and Los Angeles while growing up. Prior to moving to Raleigh, I would have said that L.A. was home but my roots are now firmly planted here. It’s been ten amazing years and I cannot imagine raising my babies anywhere else at this point.
Why did you start Baubles & Backdrops? My close girlfriend, Tiffany, and I were both craving a creative outlet. The two of us already shared a passion for photography and wanted to continue to learn more, we loved casual style as well as entertaining so we decided that writing a blog together would be the perfect opportunity to spend time together while simultaneously sharing things that we loved. After several years of writing Baubles & Backdrops together, Tiffany made the decision to leave. After she relocated to her hometown of Charlotte, NC, she wanted to spend more time with her sweet family.
How would you describe you style? Let me start by saying that in no way do I consider myself to be a style expert or fashionista. I am well aware of the fact that my outfits are pretty simple. I ave always said that while I love clothes, I am not super knowledgeable about fashion. I like what I like and don’t become too invested in what is going on in the fashion world. I would describe my personal style as easy, comfort-based and ever-evolving.
