Happy Monday, friends!
It’s been a little while since my last post and that’s because while fall content is my absolute favorite, this time of year also brings unpredictability in the way of sickness. Poor Ry has been under the weather off and on for about six weeks now. This most recent time consisted of croup followed by an ear infection. Now, it looks like it is Emerson’s turn. She started to seem off yesterday afternoon and woke up congested this morning. Never a dull moment, right? I know that you understand that my family life takes priority but I do apologize for not trying harder to balance taking care of that end as well as the blog. There’s definitely been a learning curve the past year now that I have two kiddos.
I have been so anxious to share this outfit with you all because of this particular sweater. It was available last year and I bought a few colors and wore them constantly. In fact, they were easily my most worn pieces. So, this year, when I saw that there were new colors available, you better believe that I bought a couple. This sweater is such a great shape. Loose but still flattering. The neckline adds such a nice detail and the fabric does not pill. That’s a huge pet peeve of mine…spending money on a sweater and then having it look worn-in within just a couple of wears. This material is incredible. I decided to pair it with a hat because I am thoroughly enjoying accessorizing again. It used to be exciting to accessorize with jewelry but with the little ones, I don’t typically wear too much jewelry anymore so hats and head scarves have been my staple accessories recently.
Do you have any favorite pieces that you own in several colors? If so, please share!
