Never did I envision myself developing a complete obsession with children’s pajamas. However, that’s become my reality. The first pair of pajamas that I ever purchased for Ryan (while he was still in my belly) was a zip-up pair from Hanna Andersson. Once he was a born, that’s what he wore and I soon found myself buying several more. It was then that I realized two things…1. Seeing your kid in pajamas is literally one of the most adorable things imaginable 2. Hanna pajamas are with every penny from a quality and longevity standpoint.
As time went on, I learned that Hanna Andersson released new pajamas prior to most holidays. It soon became family tradition for Ryan and his two cousins to wear matching pajamas on Christmas night, when we all spend the night having a big family sleepover. When Emerson was born last fall, she was added into the mix and all fur cousins look absolutely adorable in Christmas-themed jammies.
Now, I can’t resist finding matching patterns for Ryan and Emerson throughout the year. On a visit to our local Hanna Andersson shop in Durham last month, I asked one of the salesgirls (who I have gotten to know) when she expected the Halloween pajamas to arrive in-store. She laughed and told me that they just arrived that very morning. They were in the back and she was working on unpacking them all. I left that day with a couple of pairs of Halloween jammies for Ryan and Emerson. My absolute favorites? These amazing bat print ones. So cute, right?
…and for good measure, a picture taken after her brother prevented her from eating a small toy…
