Happy Hump Day! Only a few more days until the weekend…who’s counting with me?
This past weekend, Lindsey and I attended a Galentine’s party hosted by two of our fellow Raleigh blogger friends. It was so nice to hang out with the ladies, talk a little shop, eat amazing food and sip bubbly. We will have more pictures to share with you in the coming weeks but today I’m sharing what I wore to the event.
I must admit, I had no idea what I was going to wear until I found myself browsing the women’s section at Target. I haven’t browsed the clothing department of Target in awhile (because I always head for the home decor), but they have some really cute stuff right now. I picked up several pieces including this adorable lace dress. The instant I saw it, I knew it would be perfect for the party.
Once I got home, I stood in my closet and quickly picked up my OTK boots to pair with the dress. I wear these boots ALL THE TIME. I can’t stop myself and I’m debating on getting a different color. Anyways, back to topic…the dress is sleeveless and not only was it cold on the day of the party, but I’m not ready to show my arms (they are pale and not toned) so I grabbed my trusty denim jacket to throw on. I was surprisingly pleased with how quickly it all came together and it’s rather cute. Target for the win!
