Happy Monday, friends. It’s the last Monday before Christmas…who is ready? I’m raising my hand because I have officially finished my shopping and I’ve wrapped all my gifts. What a relief!
Although I am prepared for Christmas, I still can’t believe it is in 5 days. We start our family gatherings at lunch on Christmas Eve and it is non-stop eating and lots of quality family time until lunch on Christmas Day. Rudy and I then drive home and we have our Christmas together that night. Which reminds me, I do need to figure out what we are going to eat that night. We typically go to bed early Christmas night because the 26th is filled with shopping. We get up super early to partake in all of the big Christmas decor sales. Trust me, we don’t “need” anything else, but we both love decorating for Christmas so I’m sure we will see something we want.
One big item on my list this year is another flocked Christmas tree. I bought one last year for upstairs and absolutely love how it turned out. Plus, I had a really difficult time with our real tree downstairs. It took me forever to get the lights on and then we had a fuse that kept blowing. It was very frustrating so I think we are going artificial next year. We shall see.
If you haven’t finished your Christmas shopping or you have the itch to purchase a little something for yourself, I have the perfect hooded tunic. This sweatshirt is super comfy and I have already worn it countless times. The burnout material, exposed seams and hood scream casual, so I typically throw on with jeans and sneakers. With this look, however, I tried something a little different by pairing it with vegan leather pants and over the knee boots. I think I turned out cute. I wouldn’t necessarily wear this to a formal dinner, but then again you never know.

Have a great week and good luck wrapping up any last minute errands for the Holidays!

Love this tunic!! I am raising my hand as well! However, I am waiting for the UPS man to deliver the last of the gifts so I can wrap them.
