Is it really Wednesday? This week has flown by. Rudy and I are keeping our niece and nephew while my brother and sister-in-law are in the Dominican Republic celebrating their 10 year wedding anniversary. Wow, what a difference a 4 year old and 20 month old make to your week.
Rather than watching our favorite shows, we have watched more episodes of Paw Patrol than I knew existed. We have played with every toy they own at least once and picked them up off the floor more than that. I don’t think I’ve even put on a full face of makeup since Saturday, but I have loved every minute of it. Yes, they may have their moments where they don’t listen, but the second Addie says “Tete, I love you” for no reason or Gunner runs up to hug me, nothing else matters.
This week has just reconfirmed how much I want to be a mom. I love my niece and nephews more than I can even explain, so I can’t imagine what that love is going to be like when it’s my own. I can’t wait until the day I find out.
Lindsey shared a Free People tunic earlier this week and here I am sharing another one. Can you tell that we both love tunics? And Free People for that matter. I actually purchased this one during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale back in July, so I’ve been anxious to style it. While I paired the tunic with jeans for this outfit, I’m sure I will also wear it with my faux leather leggings later this fall/winter.
Now, can we talk about the choker trend coming back? I was very hesitant to attempt pulling one off…aren’t I too old for a choker? Well, I stopped questioning and purchased one and I will admit that I love how it looks with this tunic. I guess we will see how much I wear it this season.
