Good morning, everyone!
Last night, my family went out to celebrate my dad’s birthday. We went to his favorite sushi place, Shiki Sushi, over in Durham. If you are local, I highly recommend checking it out.) Admittedly, I eat like a four year old so while I did not partake in the sushi eating, my belly was gull when we left. We had spent the first half of the day in the pool so by the time we finished dinner, Ryan, David and I were all exhausted. This heat is definitely taking its’ toll lately.
Today I wanted to share the most beautiful navy top. While my closet contains far more black pieces than navy ones, I couldn’t resist this particular top. In recent years, I have become a total sucker for a beautiful lace blouse and this one is no exception. The fit is great. While it isn’t boxy, it also doesn’t cling at all. The sleeve length is perfect for anyone (like me) who likes to keep their arms covered up it. The sleeves hit just above the elbow and it runs true to size. I decided to pair the top with my golden yellow platform shoes. I debated buying these shoes in this color but because I wore my red ones all the time, I ended up ordering them. Have you ever had one of those pleasant surprise purchases when an item you thought that would be difficult to match ends up going with just about everything? That is what happened with these shoes. The color looks amazing with navy, black, white, gray, burgundy, etc. What is even better if the fact that these shoes are incredibly comfortable. I have walked for several hours in these shoes without issue. In fact, if you are looking for a cute pair of shoes to wear for long periods of time, I feel confident saying that these just might be your best option. Another plus? They are available in several other color options.
