Happy Monday!
How is it Monday already? I have been on the go nonstop for the past 6 weekends and I think it is finally catching up to me because I am exhausted. I need a weekend at home, STAT.
Rudy and I were back in Charlotte this weekend to attend a retirement party. My boss at my former job is retiring and the team was nice enough to invite me to the celebration. These people are like family to me, so it was so good to see everyone. On our way home yesterday, we stopped in Kernersville (near Greensboro) and had lunch with my grandparents. Even though they live only an hour and a half away, we don’t see them nearly enough. I need to get better about spending time with them while I can.
Before we left Charlotte Sunday morning, I went to REACH (Reproductive Endocrinology Associates of Charlotte) to kick off our 3rd round of IVF. I knew I had to give blood and do an ultrasound, but I had no idea I had to give 11 tubes of blood…not fun! For a Sunday morning, that place was packed…I had to wait 2 hours for my ultrasound. I’m going to share more on our fertility journey in the next week or so. I haven’t documented the last several years but want to do better this time around.
As I mentioned in previous posts, I have purchased several new dresses from Anthropologie. I’m obsessed with their stuff right now, including this pale pink drop waist dress. I originally saw this on the app (I look at the app every day for new arrivals) and instantly fell in love. Honestly, I wish I was thinner and tanner, but it’ still adorable and I already know of a few places I will be wearing it this summer. You can’t tell in these pics, but there are pockets and I am a sucker for a dress with pockets!

Have a great week!

The drop waist and high low hemline on this dress make it super unique and so fun! I love the necklace you paired with it.
