It’s almost Friday! Hope you all are having a great week.
In addition to surviving the ice/snow storm over the weekend, I was recovering from an outpatient surgery that I had on Thursday. I am so grateful for the many calls and text from family and loved ones and for my husband, who took care of me like it was his job. I’m a lucky lady to have such loving people surround me.
Due to the surgery, I haven’t been able to wear denim or anything with a button or zipper. This has been challenging, especially when it comes to work. During the warmer months, I don’t mind throwing on a dress or skirt, but during the colder months, I’m a pants girl. I like to be warm and I like to be covered, so finding something to satisfy all my likes with the laundry that I had clean was not an easy task.
Now, I’m not typically a fan of leggings. I don’t like to see them worn as pants aka with short tops that show your backside and/or front side (you know what I am talking about). I just feel that they should be worn as a layer with a long tunic or a dress…something that covers the fact that you are actually wearing leggings.
With that being said, I did wear leggings the other day but I paired them with a tunic and a long vest to ensure that I was properly covered. This outfit turned out rather cute and it was super comfy. This may be a go-to on another lazy day.
