Lou & Grey (Ann Taylor’s newest brand) opened in Raleigh almost exactly a year ago yet, somehow, I had never been able to visit their store. While out with David and Ryan this past weekend, I decided to finally pop in and check it out. Such a beautiful store, such beautiful clothing. Clearly, the clothes are all about wearability and versatility. It was evident from the moment that I walked through the door. Typically, I follow the rule of using the hangers to move clothes while perusing but I found myself wanting to touch EVERYTHING. The fabrics feel buttery and rich and the muted color palette helps to create a soothing atmosphere in the shop. The clothing is being described as “Lifewear”, referring to the fact that it is for the woman who wants to feel stylish and put together without sacrificing ease and comfort.

These pieces look unbelievably comfy, don’t they? Just looking at these images makes me want to curl up on the couch with a good book and a cup of hot chocolate…but then again, these pieces are far too pretty to keep inside.
