Happy Monday!!!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I was actually home this weekend, which makes only the 2nd time in 8 weeks…I’m a little tired of traveling, to say the least. It’s hard to stay on top of things during the week and when you add on traveling every weekend, my to-do list was a mile long. I was able to do laundry, clean out my very messy closet, put away fall decor and start decorating for Christmas. Yes, I know it’s not even Thanksgiving yet but this will be the first year that Rudy and I are both home for Christmas. Typically, he goes out to California mid-December and then I go Christmas day. Well, this year we will both be home the entire month of December, so I want us to enjoy the holiday cheer as much as we can. We LOVE Christmas!
As I shared last week, Rudy and I attended a friend’s wedding last weekend. I had searched high and low for something to wear, but continuously struck out. I ordered two different skirts from Anthropologie and one was backordered and the other was too big This is exactly why I don’t like shopping online. Anyway, I had purchased this tulle skirt a little over a month ago during my trip to Nordstrom with Lindsey and her mom. This skirt caught my eye as I walked by the ‘The Last Few’ rack. I picked it up and, what do you know…it was my size. As slipped it on in the dressing room, I felt like Carrie Bradshaw. I felt so girly…I don’t know if any other piece of clothing had ever made me so happy.
After my many failed attempts to find something for the wedding, I ended up wearing this amazing skirt. While I kept my outfit really simple, I received so many compliments. I paired the skirt with a black turtle neck and black pumps. To complete my look, I added a little zebra print clutch (not pictured). If you are a girly girl and have always wanted a tulle skirt, I would highly recommend getting one. Plus, it would be the perfect thing to wear to the holiday parties around the corner.
