We recently attended the grand opening party for the new store at The Streets at Southpoint in Durham. It is an exciting addition to that particular shopping venue. The store partnered with the Susan G. Komen Foundation and part of the proceeds benefitted the charity. When you walk into a Kendra Scott store, you can’t help but notice how the brightly colored pieces of jewelry beautifully are juxtaposed against the crisp, clean interior design. We had such a nice time browsing the jewelry and chatting with the adorable girls on the Kendra Scott sales team.
The pieces range from soft and delicate to cool and edgy. Because Kendra Scott is so well known for her tassel necklaces, people often have the misconception that her jewelry falls on the more conservative side but in actuality, she offers a wide range of pieces. Here are a few of our favorites that we viewed…
This amazing bright pink tassel necklace was incredibly eye-catching. We love how it was styled with the layering and the double wraparound.
Next, this white howlite necklace is stunning. Despite the muted palette, it was an eye-catcher. We loved that it comes in silver because so many jewelry lines seem to be so heavy on the gold. Don’t get us wrong, we LOVE gold but it was refreshing to see a pop of silver.
This collection of corals and varying shades of pinks is beautiful. We fell for those amazing cuff bracelets. Wearing two or three of them at the same time would create a dramatic look. It is difficult to tell in the picture but the pale pink stone actually changes color a little depending on which color is placed behind it when worn. For example, it appeared slightly different on each of us because it picked up on the blonde and brunette coloring of our hair. Really cool. Also, how amazing are those coral earrings on the left?! Bonus? They are on sale right now.
Unfortunately, this photograph below does not do the gold statement necklace that is pictured justice. It is a really dramatic piece in person and incredibly versatile. It can be styled for a more formal occasion such as a wedding or corporate event or thrown on with a basic white tee for a casual yet polished look.
Here are the tassel necklaces that Kendra Scott is so famous for designing…
This is ring one of their best selling pieces and it comes as no surprise! Tiffany tried it on and she didn’t want to take it off! Gooooogeous, right?!
One of the coolest parts about being able to visit a Kendra Scott store is the Color Bar. Here, you can custom mix and match different stone colors with various jewelry silohuettes. The possibilities are virtually endless!
We had such a fun time at the event and are so excited to welcome Kendra Scott to the triangle area. We each walked away with a new piece of jewelry that we will be sure to style and post soon!
Hope you all have a beautiful day!
xoxo
