Are you familiar with the company, Chatbooks? They came up with the idea to both target and cater to the world of Instagram. For just $6, they will send you a photo album featuring 60 of your Instagram photos. You can sign up to have them automatically send you your next volume once you reach 60 photos again. Brilliant, right? I don’t know about you but I am always so nervous about losing my photos that are floating around in the digital universe. My Instagram account holds so many memories throughout the last several years and I would be devastated if those photos could no longer be accessed for some reason. I recently made my first order of Chatbooks and they arrived the other day. I immediately sat down with Ryan and began to flip through my first four volumes that I have accumulated thus far. It will be so much fun to show him these as he grows older. They document so many amazing memories throughout the last few years.

Pictured below are the covers for my four books that I have received so far. Chatbooks will automatically send me my next volume once I reach 60 additional photos on Instagram. You, personally, select which photo in each set you would like to serve as the album cover. The cover in the top left is a picture of two of the loves of my life…my nieces. I snapped the picture one morning when they had a sleepover at our house. The photo in the top right is a picture of our snowy backyard at David’s and my old house. The bottom left cover is an image I posted after my husband had taken such amazing care of me after my breast cancer diagnosis and surgery. It was a simple way to “shout from the rooftops” how much I love him. The last shot is one I took on vacation in Los Angeles while snuggling with my nieces.

I think this company has cornered a great part of the market with this idea. Nobody wants to risk seeing their memories vanish, right? They have also hit a nice price point. As long as you’re not posting ten pictures a day, it takes awhile to accumulate 60 photos. For my personal account, I figure that I only need to spend an average of approximately $12.00 a year for my Chatbooks. Plus, I can’t wait until my next one arrives because it will be filled with pictures from our life with Ryan.
