1. I miss all of my friends in Charlotte. While I go ‘home’ several times a month, I always go to visit my family and see my sweet niece and nephews. We need to make a point to plan a trip to just visit with friends…consider it on my ‘To Do’ list!
2. I’m ready for a family of my own. Rudy and I have been trying for 2 years, with the last year and half with several failed rounds of IUI and a failed round of IVF. I know it’s all in His hands, so I just have to remind myself to be patient. We are meant to be parents.
3. I’m a Godmother. Rudy and I were asked back in February if we would be Godparents to his cousins little girl. Jimena was born on June 6th, which was 8 weeks early. She spent almost a month in the hospital, but is now home with her mom and dad. Rudy and I are hoping to go to Guatemala this fall to visit and spoil her! (and yes, I have a wardrobe for her already)
