Typically, I gravitate to neutrals, black and white or a graphic print. While I always appreciate a beautiful feminine print on others, I tend to feel like I am a little girl playing dress-up when I those try pieces on myself. However, when I saw this BCBG dress I was completely smitten. I kept my fingers crossed all the way to the fitting room. I so badly wanted to come home with this dress in hand. The unique color combination of the pale blue and bright red was what initially caught my eye. The print looked like a piece of artwork. Then I noticed the sweet ruffle at the drop waist. So adorable. Because I am tall, I often struggle to find dresses that are long enough. This particular dress is a great length. Not so long that it reads matronly but not too short that it reads, “What was she thinking?”…or at least I hope not. The sheer sleeves add coverage while simultaneously adding to the feminine feel of the dress. It is a great option for so many types of spring and summer events. It can be worn to showers, weddings, date nights, birthday parties and so on. In fact, I just wore it to a wedding this past weekend. It was incredibly comfortable and so easy to style. I paired it with a pair of neutral heels, Kendra Scott tassel necklace and headed out the door.
