A few days ago, I put up a picture on Instagram of some recent purchases from Madewell. I mentioned that I had purchased a second pair of boyfriend jeans. The Madewell Slim Boyfriend Jean are fantastic. They fit a little closer to the leg than most boyfriend jeans so they are more flattering. The denim is fairly soft and the material isn’t too heavy. They are perfect for spring and will transition well into fall. I purchased my first pair on my trip back to L.A. a couple of weeks ago. They have already been worn so many times that I decided I needed a second pair because I will live in these. While I love a great pair of ripped jeans, I love that this particular pair doesn’t have any holes. I am so sick and tired of pulling on jeans and sticking my foot into the tears and hearing, “Rrrriiiiip.” Ugh. This pair does have some character built into the fabric. There are tiny little white paint and ink stains. I love this little detail.
I planned to shoot these jeans today and a certain baby (who has his first cold) wanted to be held so he made an appearance. Good thing that he loves the camera. It’s apparent that these aren’t the best photos for showing the jeans but I promise that they will make another appearance soon. Also, this button-down shirt that I am wearing has become one of my favorite shirts. It is incredibly soft and the bright blue and bright coral color combination is so pretty! It also looks amazing when paired with white denim.
