British retailer, AllSaints, has become one of my favorite brands. I love the simple yet edgy feel of the clothing. The expense deterred me for a long time until a friend made the point that AllSaints produces investment pieces. She noted that she had owned a few of their items for several years and assured me that, because of the quality of the clothing, they were still in beautiful condition…even the knitwear. The monochromatic color palette makes their pieces incredibly versatile and timeless.
I recently spotted this particular sweater dress and was enamored by the drapey feel and the simple detail of the cutout on one of the sleeves.
We had a bit of a dreary few days recently so I decided to wear this dress…as a sweater. Don’t ever forget that, just because a clothing is labeled one way, you can be flexible. Not in the mood to wear tights or leggings, I decided to throw on a pair of my favorite jeans underneath.
