This past weekend I walked into Target armed with a list of exactly what I needed. For approximately thirty minutes, I methodically pushed my cart up and down the aisles, checking the items off my list. Then it happened…that moment when your cart seems to veer itself off course. All of I sudden I found myself shopping for endless items that I absolutely did not need. Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted an adorable denim vest. Magically, it must have thrown itself in my cart because it made its’ way to my house and into my closet.
I have virtually no ability to delay gratification so I wore the vest the very next day. The vest helped to add a bit of dimension to my otherwise simple outfit. I paired it with a lightweight sweater, pair of patchwork denim jeans and one of my go-to pairs of hi-tops. This particular pair of Vans are super comfortable. If you want to give your feet a rest from heels and wedges, these just might be a great option for you. (Please ignore the state of my hair. I used a deep conditioning treatment that morning and my hair deflated.)
