The stroller that we had ordered was backordered but it finally arrived this past week. David and I were excited to take Ryan out for a walk around the neighborhood. It was an absolutely beautiful day to venture out for some fresh air. in fact, we ended up walking to my brother and sister-in-law’s house to visit with them and our nieces. (We are incredibly fortunate to have them live in the same neighborhood.)
I am still struggling to fit into most of my pre-pregnancy clothing post-baby so I find myself living in black pieces. Who am I kidding? I find myself living in pajamas. Thankfully, I received a gorgeous new Theodora & Callum scarf for Christmas. The beautiful colors added just enough “oomph” to my otherwise monochromatic outfit. It helped me to feel more put-together than I had in weeks. I was still wearing a causal outfit but at least I was wearing an accessory. THAT in itself was a big deal.
I realize that David and I look like we are wearing matching shirts but I assure you that they are different. We realized that we looked silly but neither of us had the energy to change! I also swear that we are not pushing around an empty stroller…Ryan is happily sleeping in the bassinet.
We bundled Ryan up for the ride in this super cute outerwear given to him by his Aunt Ann. It is from Baby Gap but it doesn’t look like this color is still available. Here is the link to an adorable cream-colored version.
Here are a few great scarves from Theodora & Callum’s line, T&C, that would be great paired with an all-black look…
Wishing you all a wonderful day!
xoxo
