As Tiffany mentioned yesterday, we have been experiencing fairly low temperatures here in Raleigh. I think that many people have the misconception that we don’t have cold weather because we are in the south. While our winters are far more mild than the north or midwest, we do need to bundle up, especially in January. This coat from J. Crew is not only good-looking, it is extremely warm. It is made from Italian wool and the look was inspired by old stadium blankets. The faux fur trim around the hood is detachable. I love when companies include that option. I am wearing the Heather Dusk version of the coat but it also comes in four other colors. Personally, I am obsessing over the Flame color but they are all beautiful.
