Last weekend, the hubby and I joined a groups of friends to celebrate my good friend, Jenna’s, 30th birthday. She decided for the big 3-0, she wanted to visit several vineyards in North Carolina and it was a BLAST!
We had a car service pick us up in Charlotte and take us to each vineyard. They took care of lunch and paying for our tastings at each place. We only had to worry about getting in and out of the car and tasting the wines. It was the perfect way to spend the day.
During our day we visited three vineyards: Raffaldini, Laurel Gray and Shadow Springs. They were all beautiful and had amazing wines. Laurel Gray actually had samples of two of their sauces: Crazy ‘Bout Butts Barbecue and Artisan Vinaigrette Sauce. We ended up buying one of each and have had BBQ Chicken and used the vinaigrette sauce as dipping sauce for bread…both were delish!
Here are a few of the pictures
And this is my favorite picture of the day. So much fun!
Thanks so much to Jenna for including me. I had such a great time. Make sure to check out Jenna’s blog, Nourished.
