One of my favorite current fashion trends is the hi-lo dress. It is a flirty new take on the maxi dress and is highly flattering on virtually all body types. It immediately makes a maxi dress feel and appear lighter. When I caught a glimpse of the dress below at Anthropologie, my eye was drawn to the graphic print and, of course, the hi-lo hemline.

It can easily be dressed up with strappy heels and statement jewelry or can be worn casually with sandals and a beach hat. The dress was hanging a little too boxy on my frame so I ended up grabbing a bunch of the fabric on the left side and I pinned it up with a teeny black safety pin. It was a quick fix to add a bit more shape to the dress.
