I am always looking for articles of clothing that will easily transition from office to night out. Last Wednesday, Lindsey and I went to an event at Madewell (read about it here) and there is never a time I go into Madewell and walk out empty handed.
Well, I saw this little dress hanging and immediately knew it was perfect for my wardrobe. I tend to be drawn to dresses that fit around the waist and hang away from my hips. Plus I love a good striped piece of clothing and this one has a cute zip-back.

I paired the dress with a cute pair of Sam Edelman Wedges, which allows me to add my own personal flair to the dress.
