Hi, everyone! I just arrived back home after spending a lovely nine days back in Los Angeles. It was a fantastic trip and I LOVED spending so much time with my family (my husband, my parents, my brother, my sister-in-law, and two nieces, ages 3 and 6.) We spend much of our time at Disneyland, CA Adventure and Legoland but I was able to fit in some wonderful time visiting with dear friends.
I ventured over to the beautiful outdoor shopping area called The Americana, located in Glendale. I did a little shopping there and also in Downtown Disney. I wanted to share the items that I brought back with my to North Carolina…
One of my first purchases was my absolutely favorite self-tanning wipes. These wipes by Kate Sommerville provide a slight tan without making your skin orange. They give me just enough color to camouflage my paleness but don’t make it obvious that I use self-tanner. They also come in a smaller size that is perfect for your face and décolletage. I used the little wipes in the cooler months. I bought them at Sephora but they are also sold at most Nordstrom stores.

I headed over to Nordstrom to hit up their Anniversary Sale and scored this Michael Kors watch for almost $100 off! I could not resist the black-on-black design. Click the link below to view the watch on Nordstrom’s website…discounted price until August 4th.

I also found this sweet little Kate Spade initial necklace. I chose the letter “D” to represent my husband’s name. This is also part of the Anniversary Sale and will remain discounted until August 4th.

My final purchase of the day at Nordstrom was this adorable sunglass pouch by Rebecca Minkoff. My mom bought one several months ago and I continually eyed hers so thought it was time to treat myself as a “vacation present”. I chose the Acid Yellow but the case is also available in Hot Red and Twilight Sky. I love this pouch because it fits so nicely inside my smaller handbags.

My last purchase of the trip was a new pair of sunnies. I rationalized the purchase by convincing myself that I HAD TO have a new pair of shades to go in my new pouch. I had been wanting a pair of red or aubergine sunglasses for quite some time and was lucky enough to find this pair at the Sunglass Hut in Downtown Disney.

I had an absolute blast back in L.A. but am so happy to be home! Hope you all are having a great start to the week!
xoxo
